Run away from your mid-week workday stresses on this guided trail run that will take participants through the most scenic trails in Palm Beach County. This run is free and open to the public.
The run will start at Winding Waters Natural Area located at 6161 Haverhill Road, West Palm Beach, FL 33407. Meet in the parking lot, which is located within Dyer Park (Google Map).
The run will cover approximately 3 miles and take participants through a variety of habitats on a combination of hardened and primitive trails.
Winding Waters is an over 500-acre natural area containing a diversity of habitats, such as mesic flatwoods, hydric hammock, depression marsh, wet prairie, and dome swamp. Several areas were cleared for agricultural purposes and have been restored to shallow-water and deep-water marshes. Birdlife is abundant with bald eagles, anhingas, green herons, belted kingfishers, wood storks, roseate spoonbills, and loggerhead shrikes making appearances.
We will provide water at the start/stop, please bring water bottle. Restrooms are not available at this location.
