Advent Frassati Night + Christmas Cookie ContestSaturday, December 13
7:00 PM at St. Mary Church
(5 Hillhouse Ave, New Haven)
Join us for a night of prayer with fellow young adults in their 20s and 30s at St. Mary Church (5 Hillhouse Ave, New Haven) at 7:00 PM. The evening will include Eucharistic Adoration, a short reflection, an opportunity for the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and time to socialize in the church hall.
This month, come quiet your heart at our Advent Frassati Night, which will include a reflection by Fr. Robert Turner, Pastor of St. Ambrose & St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parishes in North Branford and North Haven.
After our time of worship, all are invited to a social in the church basement, where we will have a Christmas Cookie Contest! If you would like to participate, please bring at least 2 dozen homemade cookies - store-bought cookies will be disqualified! One entry per person. As a group, we will vote for the best cookie in 3 different categories:
1) Best Tasting
2) Best Decorated
3) Most Creatively Catholic
Once you've taste tested and voted on which cookies should be the winners, you'll also have an opportunity to make your own marbled paint ornament! We hope you can join us!
Paid street parking is available on Hillhouse Ave in front of St. Mary Church.
