God came as a child at Christmas so we could feel safe approaching him. Our baggage, our mistakes, our worst secrets and shame: none of them stand in the way of his love. When you come to confession, you can imagine sitting at the side of the manger and speaking softly to baby Jesus. He is there to listen and to forgive. You can’t surprise or shock him; he already knows and loves you.
Our Advent confession day will run from 10am-2pm. We will have multiple priests available and quiet prayerful music playing. You are welcome to come any time during those hours.
