Advent and Art – A Reflective Mini-SeriesThe Advent journey, through the Nativity and on to Candlemas, is deeply familiar within the Christian tradition. Yet sometimes a work of art can open our eyes to see this well-loved story in a fresh light.
Art speaks to us in ways that words and narrative cannot. Over two 45-minute sessions, The Reverend Canon Dr Steve Summers will lead a reflective exploration of Advent and Art, using several pieces of artwork to guide us along this sacred pathway.
Perhaps, as we look together, something new will emerge, something about God’s presence with us that you have not noticed before.
