The 5th Annual Advances in Critical Care Conference will feature speakers from the Texas Medical Center and around the country discussing all aspects of critical care. Topics will include the latest advances in sepsis, acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), shock, trauma, and neurocritical care. Join us for cutting-edge discussions on extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), mechanical circulatory support, and neuromonitoring. Breakout sessions will focus on ICU systems, team dynamics, and much more.This multidisciplinary and multispecialty symposium allows the entire critical care team and care network to engage in a two-day meeting to discuss these topics. We hope to offer clinicians a better understanding of why they do what they do, evidence-based presentations to modify their existing practice, a collaborative network to share and engage in ideas, and a thirst to acquire new knowledge to improve patient care at their institutions.
The symposium has been designed for critical care intensivists from all disciplines, pulmonologists, cardiologists, surgeons, interventionalists, and perfusionists; family and general practitioners; nurses, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants specializing in critical care, cardiology, surgery, endocrinology, neurology, hepatology, transplantation, and obstetrics/gynecology.
