Hosted by Simon Burfoot FMPA, ABIPP, ARPS, who is the Technical Director of Elinchrom UK. This is a great course at intermediate level to follow on from Simon's recent Introduction to Studio Lighting.
Simon is a renowned photographer and lighting specialist who is best known for his knowledge and training in studio lighting. Simon will offer coaching and guidance on common studio photography problems such as how to achieve the perfect white background in camera with practical demonstrations throughout the day. With instructions on how to use a second light source correctly as well as mastering the use of gels to alter backdrops. Given the advance nature of this particular course, it is strongly recommended that you have either attended the Introduction to Studio Lighting course being held on 10th September 2024 or that you already have a good understanding of using flash/light setups in a studio environment in order to benefit from this training.
You will need to bring with you the following:
- Your camera and lenses
- A spare battery
- A memory card
Elinchrom flash equipment is provided along with triggers. A pen and paper is also handy for making notes throughout the day. The workshop will be held at the SIM Imaging showroom in Hatfield who specialise in beautifully handmade photo products designed for professional photographers. Lunch and Refreshments are available on the day together with free parking. As an exclusive to SIM customers this advanced workshop is offered at only £99 for a day of expert training!
