Advanced Sound Therapy is the last module in the Sound Practitioner Certificate. We will add in further theory and sound therapy research, as well as teaching new tools.The course is fully accredited with the Complementary Medicine Association and this will allow you to gain insurance to work with sound in groups, and on a one to one basis. The course is led by Jo, an experienced sound practitioner who runs her own successful sound business across Central Scotland.
Over the two days we will cover the following theoretical topics and have plenty of time for practise on the wide selection of sound tools and instruments Jo has collected from all over the world.
Theory:
Binaural Beats
Cellular Transformation
Nitrous Oxide
Using the voice
Humming and Chanting
Rhythm Breath Tones
Crystal amplification
Lunar Bowls
Solfeggio Scale
Taking consultations
Setting up a treatment room
Practical:
Voicework
Crystal Pyramids, Chalices and
Handpans, tongue drums and Kalimbas
Full moon and Lingham bowls
Other percussion
Bringing it all together
Demonstration of Using sound tools over the body
Using sound tools to dowse the body and chakras
2 days of theory and practical tuition are included, along with course notes.
Participants must have already completed Foundation and Intermediate Sound Therapy Courses, and the Sonic Aura Cleanse Course.
On completion you will be awarded your full Sound Practitioner Certificate.
Cost is £350 with a non refundable deposit of £100 required to secure your place. Balance to be paid 2 weeks prior to course start date.
