Advanced Pistol Tactics

Take your pistol skills to the next level with our Advanced Pistol Tactics course, designed for shooters who want to expand their capabilities beyond the fundamentals. • Precision Shooting: Improve accuracy in dynamic, high-stress situations.

• Engaging Multiple Threats: Develop strategies for managing and neutralizing multiple threats in close proximity and longer distances

• Advanced Malfunction Drills: Build muscle memory to clear complex malfunctions quickly and efficiently.

• Shooting from Unconventional Positions: Train for scenarios where traditional stances aren't an option.

• Team Dynamics: Develop the critical skills needed to shoot, move, and communicate in a high-stress environment

Whether you're looking to build confidence for self-defense, improve your performance for work, or challenge yourself in a controlled, safe environment, this course provides the tools and training to elevate your skills.

Prerequisites:
This is an advanced course. Participants must have completed Combat Pistol 1 with us and demonstrate proficiency in basic pistol handling, safety, and marksmanship.

Gear Requirements:

• Semi-automatic handgun (no subcompacts)
• Tactical holster (read: kydex holster secured to your belt that covers the trigger guard)
• 3 magazines (bring more if you got 'em)
• Wrap around eye protection
• Hearing protection
• Hydration
• Lunch
• 500 rounds of FMJ ammo

Optinal Gear:

• Hat
• Lawn chair
• Sunscreen
• Knee pads
• Clothing - appropriate for the season
• Rain gear (we train rain or shine)

Instructor Bio: Mark is the founder of Barritus Defense, a security training and consulting company that has worked with the DOD, DOJ, and law enforcement agencies around the country. Mark is a 12 veteran of the United States Army where he served in the infantry and intelligence fields.

His duty positions have included team leader, squad leader, and infantry instructor. Mark is the graduate of numerous combat schools to include Squad Designated Marksman, Small Arms Weapons Experts course, Air Assault, and more.

Q: Who may attend this course?

A: You must be at least 18 years of age and be able to lawfully possession and carry a firearm.

Q: What is your refund policy

A: No refunds given for natural disasters, Acts of God, or other factors which may force us to cancel a class, but you will receive full credit to a future event of your choice. If you need to cancel due to personal reasons, notify us 21 days prior to the event and we will refund you your ticket price less any registration and credit card transaction fees. Any cancellations after that period will not afford you a refund, but we will credit your ticket fee to a future event of your choice.
