About this Event
Course: One (1) day POST & STC certified course designed as a skills building module for the experienced first responder peer support team member. The course will provide a comprehensive review of peer support best practices along with in-depth discussions on some of the newer theories and programs in this critical area. Presented from the practitioner’s perspective through interactive discussion, practical exercises and specific case studies examining real challenges peer supporters have faced when supporting others. Our experienced instructors have extensive experience in the very relevant disciplines of trauma recovery, program building, and many years of experience across the country.
