Course: One (1) day POST & STC certified course designed as a skills building module for the experienced first responder peer support team member. The course will provide a comprehensive review of peer support best practices along with in-depth discussions on some of the newer theories and programs in this critical area. Presented from the practitioner’s perspective through interactive discussion, practical exercises and specific case studies examining real challenges peer supporters have faced when supporting others.
