Everything you need to know and the supplies to handcraft all-natural organic soap via the hot process or slow cooker method!
About this Event

Experience a highly functional craft that is full of creativity, science and math!

We will formulate, measure, pour, mix, cook, color, and scent our natural soaps that are built from a base of organic shea butter, organic coconut oil, organic sweet almond oil, and organic castor oil. Made in a slow cooker in small batches, these soaps have a rustic and hearty look.

Using natural colorants (plants & clays) and essential oils, you will customize your soap exactly to your liking! You will be making a soap loaf which will produce qty5 ~4oz soap bars. This is about a 1/2 years worth of soap, depending on usage.

One of the best parts that make your soap creation extra special is your very own personalized labels for each soap. We provide professional-grade custom labels printed with the ingredients you used and the name/branding for your unique soap. You will have 5 artisan soaps you will be so proud of for gifting or keeping!

Our expert soap-makers will guide you to make soap from scratch and bathe the workshop with interesting soap facts and soap education. Light drinks and snacks will also be provided on the patio outside of our soapery. This is an outdoor event. Rain or shine. Please remember to dress accordingly. 18 or older, advanced soap-making event as we will be handling sodium hydroxide, also known as lye, under controlled supervision. (Ticket price includes sales tax).

Did you know you can color soap with spinach or tomato paste or cocoa powder? You can! We have a fantastic assortment of botanicals that will naturally color your soap, provide powerful properties, and do no harm to the planet, all at the same time. Mother earth provides a bewildering color and fragrance palette, there is never any need for synthetics or chemicals in your soap. Let us show you how!
