Jobs in the Advanced Manufacturing industry are in high demand in the state of Michigan. Oakland Community College is currently offering short-term job training for CNC Machine Operator, Electric Vehicle Technician, and PLC & Robotic Technician at the Auburn Hills campus. In 14 weeks or less, these programs can provide the industry essential skills, knowledge, and certifications needed for entry level jobs in manufacturing.
The in-person info session will include:
- Benefits of OCC’s short-term training programs
- Employer, instructor, and former student perspectives
- Potential funding through Michigan Works and application process
- Overview of CNC Machine Operator, EV Tech, and PLC & Robotics Tech programs
- Opportunity for Q & A
