If you would like to become a professional hoof trimmer, or more competent on farm when treating your herds hooves or add a specific skill to your veterinary practice to offer to your clients then this course is for you.
This is an intensive 5 day course that covers both the theory and the practice of hoof care and hoof trimming techniques led by our director Fred Hoekstra, who is New Zealand’s only fully qualified hoof care instructor.
We only offer 8 spaces for this course. This allows each student quality time for the tutoring they deserve. The course is only offered twice a year, May and December usually.
