About the Course Join us for a 2-day intensive course on MiYo Staining of fully anatomical Amann Girrbach zircon bridges utilizing the MiYo system, featuring the application of artificial pink gums. Learn the essentials of tooth morphology and the key principles for crafting a harmonious smile.
Lecture part:
1. Rules for the construction of white and pink aesthetics.
2. Rules for building a harmonious smile.
3. Location of contact points.
4. The top of the gingival contour. The zenith of the teeth. The axes of the teeth.
5. The relationship between the cutting edge and the contour of the lower lip.
6. Rules for achieving symmetry.
7. The Shimbashi index. The golden ratio rule.
8. Concepts of fluorescence, opalescence of the tooth.9. Color, brightness, aroma.
10. Features of working with MiYo ceramics. Preparation of the frames. How to achieve the effect of a tooth
applied in one burning.
11. Anatomy and morphology of the gum. The technique of creating a multicolored gum.
12. Morphology of the tooth and carving on ceramics.
13. Fundamentals of morphology of the frontal and chewing groups of teeth.
14. Rules for the construction of vestibular, oral, proximal and chewing surfaces from an aesthetic and
functional point of view.
15. Concepts: tooth torsion, inclination in 3 planes, exits from palatine pits, fissures and their construction,
palatine tubercle, ridges, growth lines, transitional surfaces. 16. Features and rules for creating symmetry on
the frontal group of teeth. What methods do we use: pencils, mirror, photography. The rules of triangles.
17. Rules for the location of proximal contacts and the construction of a harmonious smile.
18. Demonstration of the creation of micro- and macro-relief applicable to: applied ceramics, sintered zircon
dioxide, plastics, composite.
19. Why carving is needed and what are its advantages ( video tutorials for creating carving on gypsum and
ceramics will be open to participants).
Practice:
1. Carving on raw zircon. Tools and subtleties. What is necessary for.
2. Applying gum with MiYo ceramics.
3. Applying MiYo ceramics to teeth. The rules apply to the frontal area and to the chewing teeth.
4. Applying the mass structures to the gingival part of the restoration to achieve the effect of orange peel.
Modeling of the dentoalveolar papillae and frenulum of the upper lip.
5. Staining of the chewing tooth. Attention! It will apply 4 units of MiYo to the teeth and 4 units to the gum. We
will touch on both the frontal and chewing areas.
