This is purely for you to have goals to work towards and a personal achievement, it will not stand in the operational industry.
Over the 2 days there will be a mix of theory and practical work (mostly practical)
We will work at a different venue each day, to include operational and trial venues.
You will moslty be working your own dogs, but may also handle others, including operational dogs.
This is to enable you to improve your skills as a handler, and to learn how to read a dogs body language when working and pick up on those tiny tells that we so often miss.
You will get the chance to experience what it's like to work a live search, and gain valuable skills that you can take home to either your own dogs or your clients.
We will be searching with the dogs on and off line from free to systematic searches.
We will also cover clearing an area - blank searches.
The course will end with an assesment and you will have obtained your Advanced Handler Certificate*
Those wishing to become a DDT instructor, this would be a great one to do.
8 Handlers £185 for the 2 days.
4 Spectators £85 for the 2 days or £45 per day
