The Advanced Fetal Imaging Conference will be a full day of learning on Saturday January 29th, using a virtual delivery format. Our day will start promptly at 0800h (MDT) and end at ~1800h. Please visit our website to view our timeline, the virtual event brochure, information about our speakers, and additional logistics.
Once you are registered, correspondence will be forthcoming to prepare you for our event, including the links to access the live stream.
Viewing this event will not require you to download any programs or create any subscriptions. It will be a very simple transition to join and we will offer a guide to prepare you that can be located on our website for your review in advance.
Accreditation
Sonography Canada has fully approved the Advanced Fetal Imaging Conference for 8 credits.
This event is an Accredited as a Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and approved by the University of Calgary Office of Continuing Medical Education and Professional Development. This activity has been approved for a maximum of 7.75 hours (credits are automatically calculated)
CFPC members can claim these as non-certified credits. These are activities that have not been formally reviewed by the College and comply with the College’s definition of continuing professional development.
Speakers will deliver their presentations throughout the day. Time will be dedicated to wellness breaks and a lunch break. Don't forget to replenish yourself during our refreshment breaks and incorporate as many movement breaks as you can!
Movement Breaks will incorporate experienced trainers who will demonstrate targeted exercises, especially for Sonographers to maintain your well being and reduce fatigue and injuries during your work day.
Question and Answers are welcomed and can be added to the chatbox during our event.
Chat Box will be used as a communication tool amongst attendees and our team overseeing the event. Please ensure to open the chat box and become part of the discussion!
Attendance - an online link will be shared in the chatbox to record your attendance and gather your Sonography or ARDMS membership numbers. Please ensure to add your name and details! Certificates of attendance will only be provided to those who register and provide feedback on our conference evaluation.
Certificates of Attendance will be provided to participants who partake in our attendance process noted above and provide feedback on our evaluation form. Certificates will be sent within 10 business days after our event, using the email you registered with. Please ensure all of your information is correct before submitting.
Evaluation and feedback is important! An online link will be shared via the chat box to gather your feedback throughout our day. Please take the time to complete this and help us improve!
