In this advanced Excel computer class, you will learn how to use PivotTables. PivotTables are a powerful tool used to calculate, summarize, and analyze data, letting you see comparisons, patterns, and trends. This class is recommended for people who have an intermediate level knowledge of Excel (or who have taken an Intermediate Excel class). Create drop-downs with data validation and review filtering within a table.
Gain an understanding of PivotTables and then create, analyze data, and format within one.
Group Exercise 1: create a PivotTable with others in the class using an existing worksheet.
Learn how to filter within a PivotTable.
Group Exercise 2: replicate PivotTable examples with a large data set.
Create a PivotChart and adjust the data/apply filtering.
This is a single-session class. While this program is currently scheduled to be held in-person, this can change at any time. If the program is to be held virtually via the βOak Creek Public Libraryβ YouTube channel, all registered participants will be contacted prior to class.
