*In order to take this class, you must first complete an Equine Health and Emergency First Aid class*This is a one-day highly advanced equine emergency first aid course where you learn what to do in more extreme situations!
This course covers everything from assessing the condition of a horse, trapped horses, poison, burns, bites, hypo/hyperthermia, tie ups, fractures, sucking chest wounds and more.
This will prepare you to handle the most serious injuries, where without human intervention, the horse will not survive.
You will receive a certificate of completion and a comprehensive first aid manual.
Course begins at 9am, please arrive around 8:40am. Class will end between 4:30pm-5:00pm.
Please bring your own chair, notebook, pencil/pen and a packed lunch. Please do not plan to leave for lunch, this is to prevent class from resuming late. Snacks and water will be provided.
This class is for ages 15 yrs. old and up.
The class fee is $169 per person.
I can accept payment via Venmo, cash app, zelle or if you are near me, I can meet up for a cash payment.
Once registered, I will reach out to you individually with specific details regarding the layout for the day a few days before the class.
Class size is limited to around 12 people to ensure everyone has plenty of time for hands-on participation.
