About this workshop:
In this painting workshop for adults, you will learn fundamental skills in landscape painting before exploring the grounds of Bankstown Arts Centre and completing your artworks in the open air. (Note: In the event of wet weather, we will be working from photographs.)

Note: This class has a capacity of 10 students and requires a minimum of 5 students to run. This class is for adults aged 16+. For en plein air painting for kids aged 10-16, click here. For nature painting for kids aged 6-10, click here.
After hours access:
Bankstown Arts Centre closes to the public at 4pm. To access the classroom after hours, please enter through the back gate via the Olympic Parade car park.

Covid Safe Plan:
Bankstown Arts Centre has a council-approved 'CovidSafe Plan' in order to ensure the health and safety of all visitors and Arts Centre staff. Measures include physical distancing, contactless hand sanitising and regularly cleaning.

Film/Photography:
Bankstown Arts Centre regularly reproduces photographs/video footage of people in its publications, promotional, marketing material and on its website, in order to promote the organisation or for educational purposes.
Bankstown Arts Centre would like to be able to use and reproduce one or more photographs/video footage of you, or taken by you, for this purpose and is seeking your consent to do so. A photo consent form will be either emailed to you or be given to you in person. Please contact us on 9707 5400 if you do no wish to have your child's image used for promotional purposes at Bankstown Arts Centre.
Cancellation Policy:
Bankstown Arts Centre cannot accept responsibility for changes to students’ personal circumstances that prevent attendance. Fees are non-refundable and there are no transfers or refunds if you miss a class.
Fees are kept to a minimum and cover tuition, the use of equipment during classes and where included, the cost of tutor fees and/ or basic materials. Fees and charges may increase per financial year. For more information on fees, refer to Canterbury-Bankstown Fees and Charges document
