Britannia is a community club for adults and teens of Hemel, Berkhamsted, Abbots Langley, Kings Langley, Chesham and surrounding areas.
We host boxing and fitness classes every Monday and Thursday evenings at Mamba Boxing Gym. Whether you have zero experience and are looking to increase your fitness or want to learn how to defend yourself, or if you're an experienced boxer looking to practise your skills, we welcome people from all backgrounds.
Britannia also regularly host spectacular fight shows, collaborating with other local clubs to put on the best local boxing events as well as working with UWCB (Ultra White Collar Boxing) to put on charity fight nights for inexperienced boxers who want to step into the ring for the first time.
Everyone is welcome to come along to both the Monday and Thursday evening 1.5 hour training sessions. The sessions run from 7pm to 8.30pm. We also run Saturday 3pm to 4.30pm open sparring sessions.
Training consists of military style cardio, functional fitness, punch bag, pad drills and sparring (optional). Work at your own pace.
You can bring you own kit or use ours. Each session is £8 per adult or £5 per teen, pay as you arrive to Nick or Nikki.
The club was founded to promote good discipline, mental health, physical health and fitness for the community. It is run entirely by fitness professionals and boxers and will always welcome new members and sponsors.
Nearest parking is Waterhouse St on HP1 1ES, or Water Gardens South car park on HP1 1EF, both free after 6pm.
