Curtis is serving as the first Artist-in-Residence at The Urbana Free Library from October - December 2024 and is passionate about sharing the transformative power of art. An award-winning artist for drawing and creating hyper-realistic portraits using graphite and other mediums, he recently graduated from the University of Illinois with a B.A. in General Studio Art and a minor in Art History. He is currently pursuing an M.A. in Art Education.
