Worry Dolls are traditional little dolls originally made in Guatemala. The idea is simple. If at night you find yourself worrying about things (And worries have a habit of bothering you when you are trying to sleep, right?), you tell your worries to these little dolls and place them under your pillow. Traditional worry dolls are used by both children and adults alike. They are very small, made from things like match sticks and scraps of fabric. Nowadays, there are lots of variations on making these bright and colorful dolls.Join us in June as we make our own worry dolls. Kits will be available in the Library Rotunda on Tuesday, June 10th, while supplies last. For more information, please contact Yvonne at 603-624-6550 ext. 7620 or e-mail [email protected].
Happy crafting!
