About this Event
Time to attend to you. In this storytime for caregivers of young children we'll tend to what you need to be an effective parent with all the tumult surrounding us.
Together, you'll be read to from tender books that will affirm and encourage you, learn tips for parenting mindfully during unprecedented times, and participate in holistic, therapeutic activities designed with you in mind (but that you can totally share with your kiddo later...).
This storytime, specifically, will reflect on communal grief, positive psychology, mindfulness, and trauma-informed parenting.
Come cozy (a light, clean blanket is welcome if you want to get really cozy!) and be prepared to feel some emotions.
