Join The Studio and Amanda as she shares her love of sewing with her community. In this workshop attendees will learn how to make a large tote bag complete with outer pockets and finishing seams with a french seam. This is a beginner friendly workshop but students must know how to operate a sewing machine.
Skills that will be taught:
Fench Seams
Creating an outer pocket
Installing straps
Creating a boxed bottom
******This workshop is for students that KNOW how to operate a sewing machine. We will not be teaching the basics of how to thread and sew on a machine. If you would like to take this workshop and do not know how to sew, please reach out to us for a private lesson.

Full workshop: 10am-2pm
We will be taking a break 12-12:15pm

Sewing machines, tools, thread, fabric and strapping for the bag

What to bring:
Reusable water bottle
Sewing machine (if you wish to work on your own)
