About this Event

🌈 Adult Sensory Movers — Inclusive Dance at Kimberley Street Day Centre. Discover the freedom of movement in a welcoming, low-pressure space. Sensory Movers is for anyone who enjoys exploring movement through touch, sound, and props — especially women, neurodivergent people, and those with disabilities who prefer a gentler pace. Spaces are limited to 7 adults to allow you more space to roam and move.

✨ What is a Sensory Mover? A Sensory Mover is someone who enjoys exploring movement and sensory experiences through props and space — in their own way, at their own pace.

What to Expect (Open Practice):

* Warm welcome

* Dim lighting with colourful lights

* Explore the space and props (ribbons, scarves, poi, balls, cushions, slinkies, shadows)

* Choose to stand or sit — move as you wish

* Gentle warm-up, followed by 30 minutes of free movement to music

* Short cool down

* Session length: around 45 minutes

About Me: My name is Nicola and I am Audhd (Autistic + ADHD) Para Dance UK instructor with a Masters in Fine Art. I created Sensory Movers because traditional dance classes can feel too structured. Here, you lead your own movement journey. Find out more about my work on Instagram @audhdance
