This two-day workshop is perfect for teens or adults who want to learn the techniques of throwing mugs on the pottery wheel. Hand carving clay is an exciting and rewarding technique for beginning potters. No previous experience necessary. Two-part workshop

Workshop Schedule:
First Day: Centering clay, basics of throwing, shaping clay mug forms. Complete 2 mugs.
Second Day: Trimming, adding handles and hand carving texture into mugs.
Class fee includes small group instruction, clay, glazes, and 2 finished mugs. Pieces will remain at the studio to dry, get fired in the kiln, and glazed. They will be ready for pick up approximately 3 weeks from the last date of class.
Pre-registration for this class is required. No refunds or rescheduling of wheel classes due to small class size and limited availability.
