The Adult Pass - Prelim #1 & Workshop provides audience (ages 20+) access to the “2026 Individual Teen Preliminary Poetry Slam #1: BPL Teen Central Edition” and “Adult Workshop”.
In partnership with Boston Public Library Teen Central, Mass Poetry will be hosting a Preliminary Round for our Individual Poetry Slam on Saturday, February 28th from 12:00-4:30 pm at Teen Central located in the Boston Public Library Central Branch (700 Boylston St, Boston, MA 02116).
- This event begins with two workshops one aimed for teens and the other for coaches and adults (12:00 pm 1:30 pm).
- After the workshops conclude, our Individual Prelim slam will begin at 2:00 pm. The top four poets in this slam will win a cash prize of $50, and advance to the next stage in the competition!
PLEASE NOTE: Participants ages 20 and up can ONLY attend the Prelim as audience members. Active slam participation is for teens ages 19 and under.
