WEA is working on planning a variety of outdoor events and workshops. Day hikes, canoeing, ski trips, outdoor skills workshops, etc. The goal is to offer them for everyone and some specifically for different groups like women only, 20's & 30's, 50+, fast hikers, moderate hikers, you get the idea.We are hosting a meet and greet this Friday evening at Best Coast Outfitters on Yates & Quadra. The purpose is to meet the program director, each other, share ideas, get involved, asked questions, etc. As a special treat, there will be an exciting wilderness adventure presentation! You may even get the chance to get some shopping done and get some great paddling gear while in the store! There will be some snacks and refereshments.
If we get a lot of interest, the venue may need to be relocated to accommodate.
