About this Event
Mental Health First Aid teaches how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness and substance-use disorders. Attendees will also learn about the history of MHFA in the United States, risk factors and warning signs for non-suicidal self-injury, warning signs of substance-abuse dependence, and the MHFA action plan for individuals addicted to substances.
Individuals must complete the full-day training to receive credit, a mask must be worn at all times. Light breakfast and lunch provided.
