Over the course of the last two decades, Detroit-based duo ADULT. (Nicola Kuperus and Adam Lee Miller) have released six albums and nineteen EPs and singles across some of our favorite labels: Mute,Ghostly International, Thrill Jockey, Clone Records, Third Man Records, and their own label, the revered Ersatz Audio. November 1998 marked their first release: the five-song 12" Dispassionate Furniture. This September, twenty years later, Dais Records is proud to announce ADULT.’s seventh full length album: THIS BEHAVIOR. ADULT.'s music strives to answer life's existential questions and balm the wounds it leaves behind, aching to unravel the quandary, "Are we distortions. Are we distortions, perversions of humankind. / Are we distortions. Are we distortions, twisted somewhere in time."
Birthed from Arizona’s regaled Ascetic House collective, BODY OF LIGHT is a dark synth-pop outfit comprised of young brothers Andrew and Alexander Jarson. What began as a vehicle for their exploration of noise and sound during their early teens has evolved into an established production over the last decade, as BODY OF LIGHT continues to carve out their own style of complex, structured, and moving dancefloor electronics. Come take a ride with these saucy synth cowboys.
PLACK BLAGUE have been insulting the masses for over a decade now. Consistently over-sexualizing the noise and dance genres, Plack Blague continue to confuse the underground world claiming to be "too punk for punk." Studded jocks, leather jackets, filth ridden hoods, and balls out industrial madness, Plack Blague takes control of each shock of terror. Electronic Blague Music at its finest!
