This is part one of a three-part series. The dates of this art series include February 9, 16, 23 from 5-7pm. Join us for a hands-on, creative three-day experience where you’ll design and build your own custom art journal from start to finish. This immersive workshops is perfect for adults who love paper arts, mixed media, and meaningful creativity.
Feb. 9 - Design unique collage and watercolor papers, select from a curated collection of specialty papers to personalize your journal pages, fold papers into signatures and learn how to prepare them for binding.
Feb. 16 - Assemble the front and back covers, organize journal signatures, and learn the Coptic binding stitch-a traditional hand-stitched technique that allows your journal to lay flat and open easily.
Feb. 23 - On the final day, we will create your cover artwork, add interior pockets, and explore intentional mark-making and collage techniques to enhance your journal’s style and purpose.
