Interested in getting your boots off the ground and into the saddle? Want to have a true western riding experience?
Join us for our Adult Summer camp and get the feeling of riding a horse. Riders can expect to learn the basics of horsemanship, riding and controlling a horse, and the rules of being safe around horses. All while enjoying a social outing that connects you to like-minded outdoor enthusiast.
Take a short ride out to Upper Marlboro, Maryland for a getaway adventure nearby.
Daily classes are evenings Monday-Friday from 6-8pm, which allows for 2 -1 hour sessions with 6 riders per session. Afterwards, enjoy wine and light refreshments in a relaxing atmosphere.
Riders are required to pay in full and complete a waiver before camp begins. Weekend riding sessions, both group and private lessons, are available. Additional fees will be added.

Getting Riders on Horseback

Info: There will be daily 2 -1-hour sessions consisting of 5-6 riders per group on horseback. The 1st group rides from 6-7pm and the second group rides from 7-8 pm. Your time slot is determined by 1st come 1st served basics. This is an introductory to horseback riding class. From this class you can expect to learn the basics of how to ride a horse, how to interact with horses safely, your balance while controlling a horse and the basic fundamentals of horsemanship. During your time at the farm when you are not riding, feel free to relax at the farm and enjoy a glass of wine and light refreshments prepared just for you.
