Join us for a co-ed adult flag football fundraiser on Saturday, November 8th, from 10 AM to 1 PM, benefiting Project Welcome Home Troops, a nonprofit helping veterans reduce stress through powerful breathing and resilience programs.
This friendly community tournament is open to all, an excuse to get outside, meet new people, and support a great cause.
Details:
- 🗓 Date & Time: Saturday, November 8 | 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- 📍 Location: Watauga County Recreation Complex (Complex 2 — one of the main baseball fields near the tennis and pickleball courts)
- 🧍♂️ Format: Individual sign-ups only, teams will be created by the organizers before the event to keep things balanced and social
- ⚖️ Structure: 6-on-6 (or 7-on-7, depending on turnout)
- 🎯 Referees will be present to help keep things fair and fun
- 💸 Registration: $30 per player, includes guaranteed play and a donation to Project Welcome Home Troops
- 🥤 Snacks and refreshments will be available on-site

Project Welcome Home Troops (PWHT) is a program of the International Association for Human Values (IAHV), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 1997. PWHT helps veterans rediscover calm, connection, and resilience through evidence-based mind-body programs designed to ease the invisible wounds of war. Funds from this event will directly support PWHT workshops which are free for veterans.
