All adults are invited to an Educational Day Trip to the Jenny Lind Chapel in Andover, IL, on Wednesday, June 26. You can expect to leave Our Savior's at 8:00 AM and return in late afternoon.The Jenny Lind Chapel is a historic church that was completed in 1851 for a congregation founded the previous year. The church was the first built by the Augustana Synod, the main Swedish Lutheran church in America. After visiting the Chapel, the group will go to the Augustana College area for lunch and to tour the campus. There will most likely be a visit to Whiteys Ice Cream as well!
Sign up online through the event ticket link or at the Welcome Desk. There is room on the minibus for 14 people, or you can drive in your own vehicle. Please consider bringing $20 per person for gas.
