Fall Session 2025 Classes:
1 Corinthians (Open Class)
Teacher: Bob Royce
Room: C123
Cost: $0
The church at Corinth seems to have been struggling with more issues than any other church in the New Testament. We see struggles with divisions in the church, sexual immorality, doctrinal problems, the proper use of spiritual gifts, divorce, the roles of men and women in the church, and even lawsuits among church members. The underlying cause of many of these symptoms was that the church members were giving in to their natural tendency to promote self above Christ and above others. Join us as we look at God’s highly applicable counsel given to this church through the apostle Paul.
Sermon on the Mount by Jen Wilkin (Women's Study)
Teachers: Ashley Pate and Laura Steele
Room: C124
Cost: $25
Most of us have only encountered the Sermon on the Mount in fragments, considering its subdivisions as complete teachings in their own right-a study on blessedness; a reflection on the Lord's Prayer; a discussion of religious devotion, money, ambition, and relationships.
What if we navigated these three chapters in Matthew as they were originally heard? What if we read them as one cohesive, well-ordered message, intended to challenge us to think differently about what it means to be a follower of Jesus?
How to Study Your Bible
Teacher: Ronnie West
Room: C121
Cost: $0
Learning how to read and study your Bible can be a Life-changing experience. We all know that having the right tools for a job is a difference maker. Well, that is certainly true for reading and studying your Bible also. Moving from simply trying hard to be consistent in reading a chapter each morning or a few times a week to having the tools that will give us significantly more insight and understanding is eye-opening and heart-warming. Regardless of whether you are just beginning your journey with Christ and reading the Bible or if you have been studying the scripture for a long time, you will come out of this study with a new excitement and zeal for God’s Word. Join us for an interactive walk through the book of Colossians this fall on Wednesday evenings!
33 The Series: A Man and His Fatherhood (Men's Study)
Teachers: John Jarrett and Rico Patterson
Room: MOD4
Cost: $16
Fatherhood is more than just protecting and providing for your kids. Being a dad is one of the most important and influential roles a man could ever play in his life. But being a good dad doesn’t always come naturally.
This world needs more good dads. We need men who are willing to embrace the long road of building and cultivating a family. We need men who are willing to admit they haven’t figured it out and are prepared to do the work of learning how to lead and love their kids well.
This final volume of 33 The Series will help you begin to think strategically about being a dad. A Man and His Fatherhood provides insights and biblical truth that can carry you through the confusion and dark moments of fatherhood and also energize you for its high points and powerful moments.
