We teach basic Capoeira skills, movements, and music. We warm-up/stretch/mobility, build up individual sequences, put it together in partners, free play, and practice music. All are welcome to participate. It is not EASY, there will be a learning curve. We all help each other and cheer each other on! We charge $75 monthly for twice a week and $40 monthly for once a week--which is a fantastic deal! All of our monthly fees go to our nonprofit organization, which provides after school programming to youth, sponsors cultural events annually, and provides a unique summer program to youth. Most adult participants also volunteer with the youth programming. It is recommended, but not required!
