Excited to welcome Ray to teach this amazing class! :)In her family, they say she has been dancing as long as she has been breathing. As a young dancer, Ray danced at Dance Workshop of Hanover before moving cross country. In her teen years, she was honored to be part of the dance conservatory at Coronado School of the Arts, training in modern dance under Betzi Roe. She pursued her BA in Dance at California State University Fullerton, which gave her the opportunity to work with many choreographers including Clarence Brooks, Samantha Géracht, and Heidi Latsky. Ray has spent the last year training and performing with Boston Dance Theater, learning work from Jenny Oliver, Cynthia McLaughlin, Jessie Jean Stinnett and culminating in performances at The Newport Dance Festival. She was recently a guest artist with LITVAK Dance joining to be a part of their Fall 2023 Concert which celebrated three generations of women choreographers. Outside of dance, the public can find her teaching Barre classes, coaching cheer, subbing for dance classes and reading in my free time.
