?✨️ Instructor: Erin Hentzel Whether you are just taking your first machine out of the box or wanting to fillina the "holes" in your sewing knowledge, this course is designed for the beginner and provides a solid foundation in sewing. Those with some experience will appreciate the little things that may be new for them, things they were unaware that they had not learned, and hands-on help with skills with which they may be struggling.
In this class, students will learn all the skills necessary for beginning projects and basic patchwork, from threading and operating the sewing machine to the basic sewing techniques and working with fabric. No matter which direction you want to take your sewing, whether that's making quilts, clothing, or accessories, this class will enable you to make all sorts of beginner projects, patchwork designs, and quilt blocks. Erin has been sewing for over 45 years, has written 5 sewing books (published through C&T publishing), and is a trained 4-H leader and judge in Benton County. Professionally teaching sewing for over 12 years, she specializes in teaching beginners and youth. Erin has developed a program that leaves no gaps and focuses on the proper techniques, empowering her students to develop independence in their sewing and confidence to keep building onto their skills.
