** Adult Ballet Intensive**Immerse yourself in this intensive day in a supportive and friendly environment. With experienced and caring tutors, you will be encouraged to work on many aspects of the ballet technique.
We suggest that those looking to attend the event, have completed a Beginners Ballet course or have relevant experience to improvers/elementary level. It is open to any dancer over the age of 18 years old.

**Day schedule:**
*10.00 - 11.00am - PBT (Progression Ballet Technique)

*12.35 - 1.15pm – Pre-Pointe / Pointe work

*1.15 - 2.15pm - Lunch Break
*2.15 - 3.30pm – Repertoire

**During the course you will:**
* Develop a solid foundation in Classical Ballet technique.
* Build stamina, and levels of fitness.
* Gain better posture, balance and understanding of your sense of space.
* Have an introduction to "Pointe Work" (class can be taken on soft shoes if the student is not ready to go on pointe)
* Focus on specific elements of ballet such as turning (pirouettes) and jumps (petit and grand allegro).
* Practice how to memorise movement phrases and gain confidence in performance.
