June is LGBTQ Pride Month, so today we’re going recognize it with these beautiful door decorations featuring a rainbow theme. Did you know it was artist Gilbert Baker—an openly gay man, Vietnam War veteran, and drag performer—who designed the first rainbow flag in 1978? He was encouraged to do so by openly gay politician Harvey Milk for San Francisco’s annual Pride Parade. The colors together represent togetherness while each individual one has its own meaning.Join us in the spirit of togetherness as we make this colorful, welcoming craft.
Limited to 20 participants. Registration opens May 17th and is required via Engaged Patrons and is for in-house guests only.
