Course Outline
Week 1: Dive into colour mixing and learn how to expand the colour wheel with watercolour, discovering the potential of custom hues.
Week 2: Explore wet-on-wet techniques to create fluid backgrounds, gradients, and blooming effects.
Week 3: Experiment with wet-on-dry and dry-on-wet methods for layering, glazing, sharp edges, and splattering to add texture and depth to your work.
Week 4: Focus on creating texture using salt for unique patterns, dry brushes for rough surfaces, and scrumbling for layered effects.
Week 5: Master the art of lifting and resisting with brushes and tissue to create highlights, and experiment with oil pastels to resist watercolour for striking contrasts.

Terms and Conditions
1. Enrolment and Payment:
Registration: To secure a spot in the art workshop, participants must complete the registration form and provide all necessary information.
Payment: Full payment is required at the time of registration. No partial payments or deposits will be accepted.
Payment Method: Payments will be processed via Eventbrite or SumUp. No other payment methods will be accepted.
Confirmation: Enrolment will be confirmed only upon receipt of full payment. A confirmation email will be sent to the provided email address.
2. No Refund Policy:
Non-Refundable: All payments are non-refundable. Once payment is made, no refunds will be issued for any reason, including but not limited to personal emergencies and scheduling conflicts,.
Tutor Cancellation: In the unlikely event that the course is cancelled by the tutor, a full refund will be issued to all participants.
Transfers: Course spots are non-transferable. If a participant cannot attend, they may not transfer their spot to another person.
3. Attendance:
Attendance Requirement: Participants are expected to attend all scheduled workshops. Missed workshops will not be refunded or rescheduled.
Punctuality: Participants should arrive on time. Late arrivals may disrupt the workshop and may not receive individual catch-up instruction.
4. Health and Safety:
Compliance: Participants must comply with all health and safety guidelines provided by the instructor and venue.
Personal Responsibility: Participants are responsible for their own health and well-being. Anyone feeling unwell should refrain from attending workshops.
Emergency Situations: In case of an emergency, participants must follow the emergency procedures of the venue.
5. Materials and Equipment:
Provided Supplies: Basic art supplies will be provided. However, participants may be required to bring specific materials as outlined in the course description.
Personal Belongings: Participants are responsible for their own belongings. The instructor and venue are not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged items.
6. Conduct:
Respectful Behaviour: Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards the instructor and fellow students. Disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in dismissal from the course without a refund.
Property Damage: Participants will be held responsible for any damage they cause to the venue's property or equipment.
7. Instructor Liability:
No Responsibility: The instructor and venue take no responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage to persons or property arising from participation in the course.
Assumption of Risk: By enrolling in the course, participants acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with art activities and agree to participate at their own risk.
Course Changes: The instructor reserves the right to modify the course schedule or content. Participants will be notified of any changes.
8. Workshop Size:
Maximum Enrolment: Workshops will have a maximum of 8 participants to ensure individual attention and a quality learning experience.
9. Data Protection:
Data Security: All personal data collected during the registration process will be kept securely in accordance with UK GDPR regulations.
Data Use: Personal data will only be used for course-related purposes and will not be shared with third parties without explicit consent from the participant.
Data Retention: Personal data will be retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, after which it will be securely deleted.
10. Acceptance:
Agreement: By registering for the course, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
