Back by popular demand! In conjunction with the exhibition Painting at the End of the Ice Age, artist David Rosenthal will teach exercises designed to illuminate the essential concepts and elements of landscape painting to create dynamic space, light, and colors. This class will explore the theory and fundamentals of landscape painting through the media of quick-drying watercolors and short drawing exercises. Whether interested in realism, representational, or abstract painting, these foundational concepts will prove valuable to participants at all ability levels. Registration includes use of all tools and materials (paint, brushes, paper, etc.). Space is limited, and registration is required. The fee is $25.
