Led by Jamari Taylor, adults will create a symbolic silhouette painting that honors Black legacy through color, composition, and mood. We’ll discover how silhouettes and color communicate emotion, and explore the concept of self-expression.
We’ll also learn how to utilize blending techniques, paint brush usage, and how to be in control of painting. This casual and fun art class will include pre-drawn cut outs/stencils of historical figures, poets, dancers, activists, and symbolic shapes for participants to use.
Capacity is limited for this class, and registration is required.
