About this Event
Want to pick up a new art skill? Now is your chance! The Bowen Library is proud to offer four FREE art classes to our adult patrons in collaboration with Detroit's CCS (College for Creative Studies).
This class is all about jewelry making! It is a craft that involves creating ornamental items, primarily for personal adornment, using a variety of materials like metals, stones, and beads.
If you are interested in more CCS student-led art classes, the Bowen Library will also be offering the following (please see our separate eventbrite postings for these classes):
- Printmaking - 7/15
- Pottery - 7/29
- Beaded Embroidery - 8/5
**IN ORDER TO RESERVE A SPOT FOR THIS EVENT, YOU MUST EMAIL US AT [email protected]. HAVING AN EVENTBRITE TICKET ONLY WILL NOT SECURE YOURSELF A SPOT IN THIS CLASS. IF THE CLASS IS SOLD OUT, PLEASE REACH OUT ANYWAYS IF YOU ARE INTERESTED. PEOPLE OFTEN DROP AND WE MAY HAVE A SPOT AVAILABLE FOR YOU.**
