$60; $50 members, Hartford residents, and college students with ID.Join artist Peter Cusack and draw the façade and grounds of the Wadsworth’s historic Austin House, the extraordinary 1930 home of former museum director Arthur Everett “Chick” Austin Jr. and Helen Goodwin Austin. Philippe Halbert, associate curator of American decorative arts, starts the morning with a tour of the home’s interior.
Open to adults of all levels of artistic ability. Purchase a drawing kit from the museum or bring your own supplies. Light refreshments, drawing paper, and same-day museum admission included. Space is limited; registration required.
