This Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course incorporates the latest science and teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, and back injuries, heat, and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies for victims of all ages.This course is a BLENDED course, which means that there is an online portion of this course. Shortly after registering for this course you will receive a link for the online portion of the course. The online portion must be fully completed prior to attending the in-person component of the course.
Upon successful completion, students will receive a valid 2-year Red Cross digital certificate that is OSHA compliant and meets other workplace and regulatory requirements.
Course Requirements -
To successfully complete the First Aid/CPR/AED Course, you must:
Successfully complete the online session.
Attend and Participate in all class sessions.
Actively participate in all course activities, including assuming various roles during skill practices and assessment scenarios.
Demonstrate competency in all required skills.
Successfully complete all assessment scenarios.
