About this Event
The sea, the sea, the sun and the sea. A coastal odyssey taking in all the maritime splendour that the Adriatic can offer. Starting in the Istrian north of Croatia with its terraced vineyards carved into steep hillsides, travelling to the lagoon of Venice and South to the Marche, Puglia and the north west of Greece, the coast of the Adriatic is as rich in vines as it is in delicious seafood.
With fresh whites as diverse as Posip and Pecorino and rich, generous reds from spicy Refosk and juicy Montepulciano. A plentiful harvest that no intrepid gastronaut should miss.
Our shop tastings start at 7.30pm and run for approximately one-and-a-half to two hours. We will taste 6-8 wines on a theme, and bread, cheese and charcuterie is provided to match with the wines. Due to the communal nature of the tasting, we are unable to cater for dietary requirements.
