YOUR DIVE COURSE
The "Learn to Dive" course is made up of three components: online learning, a pool or confined water session and open water training. After successful completion of the course you will be a certified Open Water Diver and licensed to dive with a buddy to a maximum depth of 18 metres anywhere in the world!

ACADEMICS (Friday). Evening: When you book onto an Open Water Diver Course you will be given access to the Online Training program. You can then learn at your own pace when it is convenient for you. There are six sections to complete in the comfort of your own home and a multiple-choice exam which will be conducted at our store before you go to the pool.

POOL & OPEN WATER TRAINING (Saturday): Pool training is where you will develop basic scuba and self-rescue skills in a controlled confined water environment. Once you are comfortable in the pool, it's time to dive where the real action takes place - the open water.

OPEN WATER SESSIONS. (Saturday/Sunday): The course is spent in the ocean and actual location with be dependent on weather & tides. Over these days you will complete at least four open water dives (4 x Shore Dives) During the Open Water Sessions you have the chance to experience everything you learned in the pool hands-on. After successful completion of your open water training dives you will become a certified diver!

EQUIPMENT
Diving requires a lot of equipment to ensure our safety in the water. The equipment that we use is broken down into two sections; software & hardware. Your hardware is supplied by Adreno and is made up of your dive computer, BCD and regulator.
Your software is your mask, snorkel, fins, and dive boots. For maximum comfort while scuba diving, it is crucial that you have software that fits your body properly. A perfect fitting mask will create a seal around your face, preventing leaking water. You must purchase your own mask, snorkel, boots, & fins for your dive course as we do not supply them. This ensures that you have maximum comfort while diving. Please speak to our friendly staff at the shop for assistance with fitting & sizing.
