This project is just in time for the holidays. Needle felting is fun, and one of these cute little pumpkins makes the perfect centerpiece for your holiday table or mantle, or you can also create an adorable Jack-O-Lantern just in time for Halloween. Needle felting uses special needles and wool to sculpture anything from two-dimensional pictures to sculptures. Local fiber artist Ginger Stoops will teach you the basics of needle felting and skills that you can use to create other projects beyond the class.
Needle felting needles are extremely sharp, so keep that in mind when signing up for this class. Most find this to be a satisfying and relaxing hobby for cool autumn nights. Needle felting needles are available to borrow. All other materials are provided.

Age: 10+
Class limited to 15, so be sure to preregister to hold your spot. Call the Parks Department at 419-522-9801 to reserve your spot. Participants must be registered for the class.
