About this Event
This event is part of the Suncoast Remake Learning Days - one of hundreds of free family events taking place across Sarasota, Manatee, DeSoto, and Charlotte Counties between April 20 and May 4.
From 10:00-10:45am, families with kids in Pre-K to Grade 5 are invited to attend Adopt-A-Plushie at Cat Depot, in Sarasota. Learn a little about the adoption process, help your child decorate a carrier for their new toy cat, and receive an adoption certificate.
From 10:45am-12:00pm, families can choose to stay to participate in a real-world simulation of how to budget the cost of adopting a new pet. Families will rotate around the room, deciding how much to budget for every day life pet expenses.
