Administration of Medications in Developmental Services Programs - 1 Day Class - He-M 1201 Training Curriculum


This is a 1-day training program held in person at 195 McGregor St, Manchester NH. It's held on Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with full attendance being mandatory for the completion of this course. A written test (90-minutes long) will be administered at the end of class. Students are allowed to use the classroom handouts for the test, but cell phones are not permitted during the exam.



The purpose of this training is to provide you with the information you need to:


1. Coordinate and advocate for effective health care,

and

2. Administer medications safely.


The He-M 1201 Administration of Medications in Developmental Services Programs ensures the safe administration of medications by providers to individuals who receive services pursuant to He-M 1001, He-M 507, He-M 518, He-M 521, or He-M 524, as applicable. Providers who request training to be authorized to administer Medic*tion shall complete a training program that consists of a minimum of 8 hours of classroom training, exclusive of testing and Nurse trainer competency evaluation. This Medic*tion Administration Curriculum is intended for use as outlined in He-M 1201.05 (a).
